I am honored and feel very privileged to be the Principal of Kullu Valley College of Nursing. I am always excited and look forward to working with our students, staff & parents to make our institute the best it can be.Health is only thing which stay with us in any bad or goof circumstances. The loss of good health causes loss Of all the happiness. A Great Freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi has said that "it is health which is real wealth, and not piece of gold and silver". Nurses play a vital role in health promotion and prevention of diseases. The role ofnurses are now changing they are not only bounded to the four walls of hospital, now a days they are being employed in many sectors which include industries to schools, community to home nursing, etc. In addition health promotion by nurses can lead to many positive health outcome including adherence, quality of life, patients knowledge of their illness and self management which is a very important for enhancing the health status.
